With these downloadable Excel-based Gain-Loss Performance Analyzers and instructions, respondents to the FEP surveys who use a participating donor software firm(*) all-electronic FEP survey module can analyze their gains and losses in amount of gifts and number of donors by gain/loss categories based on the growth-in-giving performance data they submitted. They can also compare their gain-loss performance against their goals, prior year results and statistics from the annual FEP surveys.

BASIC Gain-Loss Analyzer

With the BASIC Gain-Loss Analyzer, it is easy to produce your organization’s gain/loss performance report for comparison with the core FEP “Gain/Loss Growth-in-Giving Performance Report.” It is strongly recommended that you download and learn to use the simplified BASIC Gain-Loss Analyzer before downloading FEP’s more complex ADVANCED Gain-Loss Performance Analyzer that employs a variety of additional performance indicators and analyses.

Step 1 - To download the FEP Excel-based BASIC Gain-Loss Analyzer, CLICK HERE: BASICanalyzer and chose [Save] to save the "BasicG-L-analyzer-v8.2.xls" file on your computer. This Excel file opens to the "Instructions" worksheet.

Step 3 - Follow the instructions.

IMPORTANT: Use of this version of the Gain-Loss Performance Analyzer requires that you have, or will use your donor software firm’s all-electronic FEP survey module (*). If your donor software firm does not provide an all-electronic FEP survey module, you will find an online AFP survey form with instructions at http://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/c13g2ad8e and directions to an alternative version of the FEP gain-loss performance analyzer.

NOTE: Users of the Excel-based FEP Gain-Loss Performance Analyzer are expected to be experienced with, and have access to Microsoft Office Excel.
