FEP Tactics Benchmarking Survey
From NCCS Wiki
[edit] ROUGH DRAFTS!!!
Dear Nonprofit Organization:
The Fundraising Effectiveness Project has been working for more than two years through a dozen fundraising software companies to collect basic information on donor recruitment and retention statistics. (http://www.afpnet.org/ka/ka-3.cfm?content_item_id=24159&folder_id=3272.)
We are now testing an expanded survey -- The Tactics Benchmarking Survey -- to collect information on Fundraising Tactics (direct mail, special events, etc.) for:
- Resource Allocation - Help in allocating fundraising resources within your organization to maximize revenue.
- Benchmarking - Participating organizations get access to information for comparing their fundraising performance to organizations of similar size and type.
- Peer Learning and Best Practices. We will help clusters of organizations join together electronically and in-person to form "learning communities" for sharing lessons learned and to identify best practices.
- Fundraising Trends – Are fundraising practices and performance changing? This site will help you answer those questions.
The project is a collaboration of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Urban Institute's Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy, Indiana University's Center on Philanthropy and ...
CONFIDENTIALITY PLEDGE Your organization's information will be combined with information from hundreds or thousands of other organizations to create "peer groups." Your contributions to the Tactics Survey Database will be kept confidential, unless you wish to share the information with your peers.
